Reversi is a classic strategy board game for your browser, made by the CrazyArcade team. Two colors share an 8x8 board that starts with four discs in the center. You play Dark and always move first. On your turn you place one disc so that it traps one or more straight lines of the other color, horizontally, vertically or diagonally, between your new disc and a disc you already own. Every trapped disc flips to your color. If a player has no legal move, the game shows a pass message and the turn goes back to the other side. When neither side can move, usually because the board is full, the game ends and the player with more discs wins. Equal counts are a draw. The panel shows the live disc count for both sides, and soft dots mark every legal move for the player whose turn it is. You can switch these hints off at any time. There are two modes. In vs Computer you face Light at one of three levels: Easy mostly grabs the move that flips the most discs, with a lot of random play mixed in. Medium values good squares like corners and edges. Hard looks several moves ahead and weighs corners, safe squares and how many moves each side has left. Your wins are saved separately for each level. In 2 Players mode, two people take turns on the same device.
