Maritime Conflict is a turn-based naval battle game in the style of the classic battleship board game. You and your opponent each have a fleet hidden on a grid, and you take turns firing at squares, trying to find and sink every enemy ship before yours go down. Each shot is a small puzzle. A miss tells you where ships are not, and a hit gives you a starting point for finding the rest of that ship. Good players do not fire at random: they spread early shots across the grid, then focus on the area around a hit until the ship sinks. There is luck involved, but careful deduction wins more often than not. It has a clean, modern look and works with a mouse on PC or a tap on mobile. It suits anyone who enjoys strategy and classic board games.
