How to Play Ladderrex

Ladderrex is a racing game with a building twist. You run side by side with a computer opponent, collecting logs scattered along the track. When you reach an obstacle, such as a raised platform or a row of spikes, you hold down to turn your logs into a ladder and climb over it. The key is that logs are also your score. The player with the most logs left at the finish wins, so every ladder is a trade-off. Build too early or hold too long and you waste logs you could have kept. Release at just the right moment and you clear the obstacle with logs to spare. Collecting as many as possible between obstacles is just as important as building well. It is a quick, easy game to learn with one-button controls, and every race is short enough to play again straight away.
